Privacy Policy

When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account.

While you use JinQuest we store your username, an optional avatar you upload, your quiz attempts, scores, streaks, coins, badges, saved quizzes and questions, hints used, question reports you file, and who you follow.

Your city is stored only if you turn on location in settings. If you enable notifications we store a push subscription for your device.

To run the quiz, score attempts, show your profile, history and leaderboard rank, and to keep the platform fair and secure (for example rate limiting and abuse prevention).

Your username, avatar, scores, badges, follower counts and leaderboard position can be seen by other players. Your email address is never shown publicly.

JinQuest runs on Supabase (authentication and database) and Vercel (hosting). Rate limiting uses Upstash. These providers process data only to operate the service.

You can change your username, avatar and location setting at any time in your profile settings. To delete your account and data, contact the JinQuest team.
